Giant flies invade Norway!

Attention! Attention! Giant flies invade Norway! The pests that are called the Nazis are invading Norway and Denmark. April 9 1940 the Germans invading and have initiated Operation Weserübung where the Nazis are gaining power and domination in the northern region so that they can eventually gain control of the iron that is laid deep in Sweden. If this operation is successful that it will grant the Nazis a new power in the war with a massive opening the eastern sea. For the Nazis to gain power to Norway they first have to sweep through Denmark. Their rain of terror is quickly moving through the northern population and causing the local towns the go into hiding and in some cases are causing the local residents to commit suicide. In their wake they are leaving a trail of destruction with some town being completely obviated by the constant shelling on residential neighborhoods. Some rebels are still fighting for the Danes and Norwegians in a futile effort to hold their ground against the appending domination. There are just to few rebel to have a chance to hold ground against the Nazis. If the Germans get through to Norway they will be unstoppable on the Atlantic front. They will have massive destroyers and carriers being built, fueled by the iron rich next door neighbor that is Sweden. The Canadians and British are trying very had to stop this but they still only seem to be but a speed bump for the Germans and it looks as thought the USA have no intention of hearing our pleas. So it is up to us as a country to stand up and not let our head hang low but instead the fight and hold our ground against the Nazis and their hold our country.

Top three

The top three human senses in my opinion:

3. Hearing:

Hearing to me is very important because with it you can distinguish danger in shady circumstances. As well as with it you can hear when your name is said or called. But if you don't have it, it makes leaning extremely hard, and it makes the little things impossible, such as hearing the door bell, or hearing someone in distress, or hearing a bird chirp, the list goes on. What we all take for granted wouldn't be known by someone who has never known how to listen.

2. Touch:

Touch, with it we can feel, and sense our surroundings. Feel the morning dew on the grass, feel the warm air of a nice summers day. This sense will propel mankind to create words like soft, hard, warm, cold and sticky. If you were born without the sense of feeling, then you wouldn't know the feelings of petting a dog, or feeling a piece of silk or burying your feet in the warm sand of a summers beach. The sense of touch of is magnificent, with it possibility's are endless. The possibility of becoming a fabric designer or a chef or even a barber. All these rely on the power to touch, a day in and a day out sense.

1. Sight:

Sight, with it you can see where ever your head turns. With sight you can see the sun rise and fall. With sight you can see your life in color and full detail. Sight is necessary for everyday life, the ins and outs of life, from shaving to threading a needle to even reading this right now. But if you have lost it or never known the feeling than life becomes a day by day challenge. The constant wondering if there is something in front of you or constantly living you life in fear because you never know if your going to be beaten or mugged. Sight is a beautiful thing, the joy that it brings us of knowing we can wake up in the morning and see anything and everything  that we choose.

English 11

If i could travel back in time it would be to Dec.6/1917 where The Halifax Explosion devastated most of Halifax and the surrounding area. I chose this point in time because if i was ever able to stop the explosion, i could have saved over innocent 2000 lives, and i could have stopped over 9000 people from getting injured.

If i traveled back in time to the Halifax explosion it would have changed history by the lives that would be saved. I would accomplish this by going aboard either the Russia or the Canadian ship and grabbing the wheel and making them turn out of the way instead of them ramming into each other causing the massive explosion.

I think that the people i would help wouldn't even know anythings different so it could prevent us (as a nation) from leaning the mistakes made by the Canadians and the Russians that faithful day. So instead going back in time could be a bad idea. In my mind i feel like saving the lives are worth it and that way the family's of the lost will still be able to enjoy their loved ones.
